Toolsday Giveaway: Win a DeWalt Hammer

To enter last week’s Toolsday giveaway, we asked you to identify a strange-looking plier-like tool. Many of our readers correctly guessed that it is a nail puller.

We randomly picked one winner out of all last week’s comments and that lucky person is Debbie Edwards who thought it was toenail clippers. Congratulations Kelley, you’ve got one week to reply before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a DeWalt hammer.  DeWalt’s all-steel hammers are designed for durability and long life. The ergonomic grip absorbs vibration and minimizes fatigue and slipping. The magnetic head allows for easy one-handed nail placement.

To win the DeWalt hammer, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us who uses the tool pictured below and for what purpose? You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.

Are you looking to update your countertops?  Can’t decide what kind to get?  Here is a rundown on the seven most popular types. If you’re ready to tackle a big countertop project, we’ve got detailed instructions on how to pour a concrete countertop.  But, if you’re not feeling that ambitious, we’ve also got info on new products that can make old laminate countertops look new again. Check it all out.

On Tuesday, February 14, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until February 14, 2012, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the DeWalt hammer.
