Take Charge: How to Build Your Own Charging Station

DIY Charging Station

Mornings are hectic enough without having to tear apart the house looking for your keys, your smartphone and anything else you need to get out the door. And when you do find your smartphone and its battery is dead, that’s no way to start the day. Fix both of those problems at the same time by building a DIY charging station in your home, and training yourself to use it. Now, not only will you always have charged batteries for the day, but you’ll have a dedicated place to leave your keys and purse too, which should cut back on the mayhem in the AM.

There are lots of great charging stations on the market that will charge multiple devices and keep your counters clutter-free, but it’s easy enough to make your own if you follow these instructions.
