Make Yarn Trees for Modern Winter Decor

When Husband and I first got married, we made a lot of our Christmas decorations. One of the things I made was a set of garland trees much like the ones in this tutorial. So when I was approached to participate in the blogger challenge for HGTV’s Holiday House, I thought it would be fun to share this super easy technique for some more modern winter decor. If you like this project, check out my entire mantel design for the Blogger Challenge with Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores and HGTV Holiday House.

Use hot glue intermittently as you work your way down the base to make sure that it can’t easily unravel and won’t slide.
