Here It Is: (Maybe) the Best Tablecloth Ever

canvas tablecloth

See that perfect tablecloth? The heavy-duty one that fits the table so well, falls gently to the floor, and serves as a neutral base for toppers of various colors and sizes? Our blogger Michelle Reynolds designed and made it, and we’re so glad. It’s really the perfect tablecloth for a variety of situations, in large part because it’s designed to fit a basic 6-foot folding table (which is what’s hiding underneath all this grandeur). You find the instructions for making your own in Michelle’s how-to post on making a fitted tablecloth.

Michelle also hemmed up some beautiful marbelized fabric in metallic tones for the topper. Hannah came up with the approach of situating the front point a little off center, which I love. The overall look totally fits the fresh and fun (and functional) style we were after for our holiday party. And the table was set for some amazing appetizers, like Farima’s cranberry walnut relish and Marianne’s perfect cheese plate.

Is Michelle’s creation maybe the best tablecloth ever? I think so. What do you think?

I really like the tablecloth and will be making one in the future for functions. NOW…I have to say I really LOVE the pallet Tree in the middle of the table! Can someone tell me where I would find instructions for that??
    Thank you!!
