Home for the Holidays: Make a Cream Puff Tree in Minutes

dessert tableNeed a quick and easy holiday dessert for your next party? Here’s a tasty, store-bought idea that your guests will love. Only three ingredients needed: cream puffs, caramel, and glittery sprinkles.

While I’m not a baker, I made a collection of three cream puff trees to accompany the dessert table at our Home for Holidays party. Other sweets included gingersnap cookies with pumpkin pie dip made by Farima, delectable layer cake with sugared cranberries by Liz, and white cotton candy cones from Marianne.

It’s as easy as one, two, three!

1. Form a solid circle for the first layer of cream puffs.

2. Add a dot of caramel to each cream puff and stack until you reach a point. Get creative and use white chocolate or icing.

3. Drizzle a small amount of caramel over the top and add sprinkles.

This sounds like a WOW! dessert to fix when expecting young people visiting during the holidays. Maybe even a project to keep them busy, too.
    YUM!
