Blog Cabin Project of the Week: Burlap Wainscoting

burlap wainscoting in blog cabin bathroom

When I saw this clever project, I knew it had to be one of our featured Blog Cabin how-to projects of the week, for one simple, selfish reason: It’s burlap, and I love burlap! To create the natural, textured look of high-end grass-cloth wallpaper at a fraction of the cost, the designers used strips of plain natural-fiber burlap, adhered to the wall and finished out with painted molding. I look this earthy look, which becomes the focal point in the Blog Cabin master bathroom. See how it’s done here, then recreate the look at your own home.

To see the whole master bathroom, browse through these pictures, then click over to a 360-degree tour of the room.
