Toolsday Giveaway: Win a Tri-Blade Utility Knife

To enter last week’s giveaway, we asked you to identify a neon-green gadget and tell us who uses it and for what purpose. Actually, it was sort of a trick question because there were two correct answers.  The tool is an Aerojack Knife. Skydivers use it to cut tangled lines and emergency first-responders carry them in case they have to cut a seatbelt.

We randomly picked the winner from all last week’s comments, and that lucky person is WSPB, who knew it was a seatbelt cutter.  Congrats WSPB, you have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a Kobalt Tri-Blade Folding Utility Knife. This aluminum-clad tool contains three knives; one standard razor/utility blade, one serrated knife and one fine blade. To make it easy to tote around, the Kobalt knife has a hook on the side to clamp it onto your belt or you can use the handy-dandy pouch that is also included.

Spring is here! Time to get back out into the yard. We’ve got landscape design ideas and instructions to help you get started. Not sure what type of mulch to use? We’ve got the answers. We also have tricks that’ll make your plants thrive, plus check out some different landscapes styles, everything from cottage gardens to xeriscaping.

To enter the Kobalt Tri-Blade Knife giveaway, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the gadgets pictured below are used for? You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner from this post.

On Tuesday, March 26, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until March 26, 2013, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Kobalt Tri-Blade Knife.

The Tri blade Kobalt 3-Blade Folding Utility Knife is one great utility knife. I use it mostly to do dry wall with. But have used it to skin deer, rabbits, squirls, when a sharp razor blade is needed or when a Knife is needed. You have it all in this product. Stays very sharp, and razor blades are easy to swap out.

a fastner for being able to move screws up and down? Not sure of the correct name, but I had something like this many years ago, where we were able to adjust the screws in the correct place then tighten them down.
