Toolsday Giveaway: Win a Set of Bar Clamps

We really didn’t fool anyone last week.  It was pretty obvious to most of you that the Toolsday mystery gadget was an old knitting machine used to make socks.  We randomly picked one winner from all the comments, and that lucky person is Rhonda B. who knew exactly what it was.  Congrats Rhonda B., you have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a set of Irwin Bar Clamps. These are great for DIYers and crafters. The easy-squeeze, one-handed grip makes these clamps easy to use, and they exert up to 150 pounds of pressure to hold most anything together. The cushy inner pads means even with all that pressure, whatever you’re clamping won’t get marked or dented.

    A great tool for holding just about anything while you work on it, or cut it. and is really useful in repairing chairs or cabinets that need re glued. They are great tools, I need more of them.

    I believe it is used by either firefighters or EMT's as a seat belt cutter for emergency purposes.would be great to have that be part of an emergency kit in one's car.
