Toolsday Giveaway: Win a Victorinox Swiss Army Tool

To enter last week’s Toolsday giveaway, you had to identify a chrome gadget with two wheels on each side. It was easier than we thought, most everyone knew that it was an old flip clock. We randomly picked one winner out of all the comments and that lucky person is Denis who wasn’t in the majority, he thought it was a bunch of negatives. Congrats Denis, you win even though your answer is wrong. You have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X. This handy little tool can do so many tasks; it is like having an army in your pocket!  It contains 24 tools and weighs less than six ounces. But don’t let the light weight fool you, this stainless-steel workhorse comes with a lifetime warrantee, so whoever wins this will have it for a long time to come. (Can you tell I’m jealous?) It even comes with in a sturdy leather belt case.

Spring is just around the corner. If you don’t live in a climate where you can get your veggie garden started outdoors, build a cold frame to get a jumpstart.  A cold frame is basically a mini greenhouse you can easily build with lumber and an old storm door or glass door (go to a salvage center to see if you can find one.)  Place the cold frame up against your house, facing south. Fill it with soil then plant leafy greens – lettuce, spinach and arugula – plus tomatoes, zucchini or peppers.

To win the Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what this crazy-looking red thing is. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.

On Tuesday, March 5, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until March 5, 2013 at 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Swiss Army Tool.
