To enter last week’s Toolsday’s giveaway, you had to identify two plastic-looking, octagon-shaped thingies. We had an interesting variety of answers, everything from UFO warning lights, to old telephone buttons, and someone even guessed Darth Vader eyes. Well, all those answers are wrong. Last week’s mystery gadgets were push buttons to an old radio; just push the big buttons to go to your pre-selected radio stations.
We randomly picked one winner out of all the comments and that lucky person is Ali who incorrectly thought they were bed lifters. Congrats Ali, even though you guessed wrong, you still win. You have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.
Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a DIY Network cooler bag filled with all sorts of goodies: a flashlight, tee-shirt, note pad and more.
Are you sick and tired of the cold weather and being cooped up in the house with the kids? We’ve got some great craft projects to keep them busy and away from the TV and computer screen. Teach them how to make paper airplanes, catapults or paper dolls. Older kids might enjoy making soaps, fingerless gloves or duct-tape bracelets.
To win the DIY Network swag bag, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the gadget pictured below is. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.
On Tuesday, February 26, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another prize, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.
You have until February 26, 2013 at 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the DIY Network swag bag.
