Toolsday Giveaway: Win a Framing Nailer

Happy New Year!  The Toolsday before last, we posted a photo of an old timey contraption and asked you to identify it.  Most everyone knew it was a pencil sharpener (about 200 times bigger than today’s average pencil sharpener).  We randomly picked one winner from all the comments and that lucky person is Betty H. who had the correct answer.  Congrats Betty, you’ve got one week to reply to our email message before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a Craftsman Framing Nailer. This powerhouse pneumatic tool drives 2″ to 3-1/2″ nails into any type of wood. It shoots single fire or quick bounce mode to get the job done quickly. The rubber-molded handle makes it easy to use.

January is the perfect time to clean out the cupboards and reorganize your kitchen. Check out some new storage ideas and cabinet inserts, plus open shelving ideas.  If it’s a new look you’re going for, we’ve got ideas for adding color to the kitchen, painting countertops, cabinets and appliances.

To win the framing nailer, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the things pictured below are. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.

On Tuesday, January 8, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until January 8, 2013, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Craftsman Framing Nailer.

At first glance I thought heck I don't know! Martini mixer? So I cheated by looking at the other posts and decided that Aussie Dog seems to know what he is talking about since he seems to have used such a contraption all through high school. Thus i choose to go with a container for reels of 35mm film and something to do with it's development! yes! I am a cheater today, but an honest one at that!

The item pictured is a container that you put film in from a camera to help develope it. You wrap the film around the spindles and put it in the container with the film developing solution shake it, I don't remember how long it stays in the container. When the amount of time is up you pour the solution out and take out the film.
