Toolsday Giveaway: Win a Scrolling Sabre Saw

To enter last week’s Toolsday’s giveaway, you had to identify two circular objects. Glad to see most of this crafty crowd knew they were a sewing machine bobbin and a bobbin case.  We randomly picked one winner out of all the comments and that lucky person is looker19 who correctly guessed the identity of the mystery gadgets. Congratulations looker19, you have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a Craftsman Scrolling Sabre Saw. This powerful tool with its 6-amp motor has variable speeds to make it easy to cut a variety of different materials. The scrolling mode allows the blade to rotate in a full circular motion. Or if you want to cut a straight line, the laser-light line guide makes it a cinch. Both the upper and lower handles have soft grips to reduce vibration and user fatigue.

If you haven’t already, you better get started on your holiday decorations.  We’ve got clever ways to upcycle old stuff into new handmade decorations (a.k.a. – inexpensive to make). Try turning old wool sweaters into Christmas trees; or make stars out of driftwood and how to turn an old door into a front porch greeting. Plus, find easy and inexpensive culinary gifts you can put together even if you don’t know how to cook.

To win the Craftsman Scrolling Sabre Saw, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what this old wooden thing (pictured below) is made to do? You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.

On Tuesday, December 4, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until December 4, 2012, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Craftsman Scrolling Sabre Saw.

Official Rules.
