Using LP records in crafting is my sweet spot. I have spent hours dreaming of all the ways I can upcycle the records, liner notes and covers into cool new things. I usually pick my records up at thrift stores, and I always stumble upon tons of holiday records. This was my inspiration for using records to create a cool holiday wreath.
You’ll need these materials one like it:
• Holiday records
• Foam core
• Scissors
• Glue gun
• Wreath form
• Hot pads/oven mitts
And here’s how to make it:
1. Heat oven to 250 degrees. Place record on top of an oven-safe bowl, and place the bowl on a cookie sheet in the heated oven for 2-3 minutes until the record slumps over the edge of the bowl.
2. After a few minutes in the oven, the record will be pliable and warm. Using oven mitts, pick up the record and cut around the label. Repeat for all records.
3. Cut foam core into small, one-by-one inch squares. Start to arrange the record labels on the wreath form. To raise some labels, attach foam core squares with hot glue to the wreath and glue a label on top. Alternate labels and heights to your desired look.

I like it because you can leave it up as ART. Paint a frame white or black big enough to hang the wreath inside, I would do a Square Frame.

Disappointed in why would you do this to vinyl records…VINYL RECORDS ARE MAKING A COMEBACK.
True but you could always search specifically for ones too damaged to play and eventually compile enough supplies for a wreath (so maybe it would be better to plan to have it for next year) . Also by pointing out the damage you could argue down the price since you just want it for supplies.and you might want to use more than holiday records ,
