Tuesday Toolsday: Win a Skil Oscillating Multi-Tool

To enter last week’s Toolsday’s giveaway, you had to identify a round contraption with a handle and a cord.  We had a few correct answers, but not many – some folks thought it was a garden hose, others thought it was a plumbing snake, and quite a few just said some sort of pump.

Kudos to those who got it right. The mystery gadget was an old underwater camera.  We randomly picked two winners out of all the comments and those lucky people are Wild guesser who thought it was a sprinkler, and Teristeb who knew it was an underwater camera   You both have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner .

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away two Skil Multi-Tasker Oscillating Multi-Tools.  This high-speed DIY essential includes a wood/metal purge blade, drywall blade, wide-cut plunge blade, sanding pad with refills, and of course the oscillating attachment.

To win one of the Skil Muli-Taskers, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the device pictured below is used for and what famous people used it. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick two winners.

Did you know you could paint upholstered chairs, curtains, floors and even carpeting?   While you can. We’ve also got instructions on how to a paint low-pile carpetsstaircase, ceiling and more

On Tuesday, September 4, we will select the winners then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until September 4, 2012 at 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Skil Multi-Tasker.

Official Rules.
