Last Toolsday we posted a photo of a wood shaper that is made to plane a very specific kind of board. We asked you to name the type of board. We had a large variety of answers. Some thought it was used for drywall, others thought it was used on doors and a few of you thought it is used to give shape to crown molding. But the correct answer is a surfboard, which many of you correctly guessed.
We randomly picked one winner out of all last week’s comments and that lucky person is Jeff from Mountain View, CA. Even though he’s a California dude, he didn’t have the right answer, but we’re going to let him win anyway. Congratulations Jeff.
Next Tuesday, we will be giving away three sets of Mike Holmes safety glasses. All three winners will receive one indoor and one outdoor pair of the 3M protective eyewear endorsed and worn by home-improvement expert (and DIY Network host) Mike Holmes. The anti-scratch lens sit inside a high-quality frame. The wraparound design on these specs provide extra protection plus, they’ll make you look really cool while you get your DIYing done.
To win the safety eyewear prize pack, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the strange looking thing pictured below is used for. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.
