Last Toolsday we asked you to identify a set of tools that looked like a pair of elongated eggs on a stick. For the most part, we only had two answers. About half of you thought it was used to stretch shoes and the other half thought it was used for blowing glass. Well, the second half got it right. The mystery tool is used by a glass blower for shaping curves into glass.
We randomly picked one winner out of all last week’s comments and that lucky person is Eric B., who was in the winning faction that knew it was a glass-blowing tool. Congratulations Eric B., you’ve got one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.
Next Tuesday, we will be giving away two sets of self organizing goodies including two copies of “SHED Your Stuff, Change Your Life: A Four-Step Guide to Getting Unstuck” by bestselling author, Julie Morgenstern. This 300 page book outlines a four-step plan to get rid of the physical, mental, and schedule clutter that holds back so many of us. Plus it will show you how to stay organized after you heave the clutter, so you’ll stay on track.
To win an organizing kit, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what this contraption (below) is used for. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick two winners.
Are you taking a staycation to get some backyard projects done? Let us help. We’ve got plenty of ideas, inspiration and instructions for turning your backyard into a spectacular hang out for entertaining and relaxing. We’ve got tips for designing an outdoor kitchen, instructions on how to build a pergola, tiki hut or patio. Or do you want to install a backyard bocce court, putting green or chess set – we’ve got step-by-step instructions on how to do that too.
On Tuesday, July 17, we will select the winners then start up a new giveaway for another prize, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.
You have until July 17, 2012, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win an organizing kit.
