Last week’s mystery tool was rather easy to identify, most people were able to tell it was an antique clothes iron. The 19th-century brass iron opens up so it can be filled with hot coals to smooth out wrinkled clothes. Our randomly picked winner is Christy from Choctaw, Oklahoma. Congratulations Christy.
Next Tuesday, we’ll be giving away a Skil miter saw. This 12-inch compound miter saw comes equipped with a laser cut line to make it super easy to make accurate cuts. It has nine pre-set stops for the most common miter angles. Also included are extension rails for working with extra long materials.
To win the Skil miter saw, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what profession uses the machine pictured below and for what purpose. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.
Spring is not far off. Looking for new ways to refresh your home decor? We’ve got ideas and projects that you can do on a budget – headboards, window treatments, slipcovers and funky coffee tables.
On Tuesday, March 13, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.
You have until March 13, 2012, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Skil miter saw.
