To enter last week’s Toolsday’s giveaway, you had to identify an old tool with long handles and a few little gears. The majority of people thought it was a pipe cutter, but the tool is actually used to cut cattle horns. We randomly picked one winner out of all the comments and that lucky person is Ryan P., who thought it was some form of antique cutting device. Close enough Ryan. You have one week to respond to our email before we pick another winner.
Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a Bosch Power Box. This weather-resistant cube will keep you jamming and powered up. It is equipped with an AM/FM radio, satellite radio port, CD player, MP3 plug-in, and a USB port. Also, 4-way GFCI power outlets, 4-way speakers, a remote control, 12V DC adapter and it can charge Bosch 14.4V to 18V Li-Ion batteries.
To win the Power Box, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the little box pictured below is used for. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.
We need some more help designing DIY Network’s Blog Cabin. This week we’re working on the waterside dock, terrace and doghouse. Please vote on our design choices then check on the progress of the renovation. In case you don’t know, we’re completely renovating a historic home on the coast of Maine. The circa 1884 home sits on 51 acres with its own private beach. When it is completely renovated, you’ll have an opportunity to win it.
On Tuesday, March 6, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.
You have until March 6, 2012, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win a Bosch Power Box.
