Apparently a lot of home brewers follow our Tuesday Toolsday posts. Last week’s mystery tool was a home brewer’s bottle capper – most all of you correctly identified it.
We randomly picked one winner out of all last week’s comments and that lucky person is Gerry Gradala who also guessed correctly. Congrats Gerry, you have exactly one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.
Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a scraper blade kit from Spyder. Spyder scraper blades can be fit into any brand of reciprocating saw. The scraper blade runs the saw at half speed, so it lets you demo and remove a variety of different surfaces including vinyl flooring, wallpaper, grout and tough, baked-on glue.
To win the Spyder kit, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what the contraption pictured below is used for. You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.
Previously we asked you help us design the kitchen and the master suite in DIY Network’s Blog Cabin giveaway. This week we need help with the family room. Please vote on our design choices and check on the progress of the renovation. In case you don’t know, we’re completely renovating a historic home on the coast of Maine. The circa 1884 home sits on 51 acres with its own private beach. When it is completely renovated, you’ll have an opportunity to win it.
On Tuesday, February 21, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.
You have until February 21, 2012, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Spyder Scraper kit.
