Tuesday Toolsday Giveaway: Play the Game

To enter last week’s Toolsday giveaway, you had to take a stab at identifying a sharp, pointy object. It was apparently tougher question than we thought because we received very few correct answers.  The old tool was a surgical artery hook.

We randomly picked one winner out of all last week’s comments and that lucky person is Lloyd S,who thought the mystery tool was a horse hook pick. You’re wrong Lloyd, but you still win, you have one week to reply to our email before we pick another winner.

Next Tuesday, we will be giving away a Scotch Blue Painter’s Tape prize pack. The pack includes everything to satisfy all your painting needs: Edge Lock tape  is perfect for painting stripes and decorate finishes; delicate surface tape works great on freshly painted surfaces; and original multi-surface tape can be used on almost anything.

To win the Painter’s Tape prize pack, post a comment (click “comment” above) and tell us what this old tool is used for? You don’t have to answer correctly to win; we will randomly pick one winner.

Now that November is here, it’s time to get serious about winterizing your home. An ounce of home-maintenance prevention can save you a lot of money in repairs and heating bills.

On Tuesday, November 8, we will select the winner then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until November 8, 2011, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Scotch Blue Painters Tape prize pack.

Official Rules.
