Tuesday Toolsday Giveaway: Guess to Win

Last Toolsday, we posted a photo of a $6,300 toilet and asked you to tell us what features you’d expect to see on a toilet that cost that much.  We had a lot of creative answers – should do a health scan, come with a lifetime-supply of toilet paper, play the “Star Spangled Banner”, fold up so you could travel with it.

We randomly picked one winner from all the comments. That winner is Anna L Flinton who thought it should clean with scrubbing bubbles after each flush.

The high-priced seat is the Numi Toilet from Kohler. It features an interactive LCD touch screen, MP3 docking and radio, built-in bidet and deodorizer, heated seat and foot warmer, nightlight, an auto open/close lid and a remote control to work it all.

To be eligible for next week’s Toolsday giveaway, post a comment and tell us what you think this tool (left) is used for.

We will randomly pick one comment from this post to win. That lucky person will receive a Bora Clamp Edge.  It is a nifty DIY tool that can be used as a straight-edge, a clamp or a jig. Its sturdy aluminum frame swivels so it can serve as a guide for angled cuts. And the soft rubber pads are perfect for clamping even the most delicate work.

After you guess this week’s mystery tool, enter DIY Network’s Sweat Equity Challenge — the grand prize is $75,000, plus we’re giving away weekly $10,000 prizes.

On Tuesday, May 10, we will select the winner of the Bora Clamp Edge then start up a new giveaway for another tool, which will be given away the Tuesday after that.

You have until May 10, 2011, 2:00pm (ET) to enter to win the Bora Clamp Edge.
