  9. Thanks everyone. They will go perfect in my home. Our house was built in 1939 by my grandparents and is the home where my mom grew up. We started remodeling 5 years ago and are doing a little at a time. My Nanna was able to see some of the remodeling before she passed away

  10. Ah, Shelly, love hearing about you remodeling your grandparents' home! We live in our family's 1895 home. Lots of legacy-tons of work! :-) Enjoy the lovely live edge mirrors!

Thought you might enjoy a favorite poem about old homes:

I shall always love an old house
    For in those timbers strong
Is love and life and memories
    Of children's carefree song.

A house that's used to wind and rain
    And a towering oak above
Used to sunshine, laughter and lilacs,
Will protect those who give it love.
