  1. I loved the women water skiing poster from the start. It's fun, it's bright & it's cheerful & it catches your(my) eyes. Synchronized water skiing on the lake. I love it. (retro style);)<3B):p<3

  2. I think the chandelier and the dining room table are the a close second to the kitchen island! So hard to decide! Everything is wonderful! WOW, what a great home! All the citrus colors and different textures are the best! I love it all!

    • I love the kitchen island.

    • The kitchen island is one of my favorite pieces, I know they aren't giving one away, just have to say.:)

  4. I really like how the BC office displays so many upcycled pieces as decor. The feeding troughs and vintage mail sorter have nice design and function. I too, have a vintage globe on my office shelf. It sat on my father's desk and I remember spinning it as a child. The metal biscuit cutter turned lamp is unique, nothing I have seen before. I love the color of the rustic cart used as an end table. Nice use of vintage pieces making the office feel fresh and still connected to the past.

  5. I'm in love with the master bedroom and siting room upstairs.

I remember being young and go to Cypress Gardens and seeing the skier's and walking the gardens with the ladies in the flower dresses.

This home and property would be the best place to raise a family.

  7. My favorite reclaim would be the original refrigerator that was made into the message center. It is a great use for something so old. I just love it.

  8. I love the art. I know just where I will put it in the house. I still have one land line phone in the house directly connected to wiring so that when the power is off in the house I still have a phone to call the outage in on. My other home phone has to have power to work.

  9. I was surprised, too, by "treasured items left behind." I think they are duplicates. But it does make me eager to see what else will be offered. Is "vintage-inspired metal kitchen shelf" something from the old kitchen that didn't fit into the latest design but was still too charming to just scrap? Or something new? Don't know, but either will be fine with me.

Yes, we are *supposed* to comment on a "reclaimed accessory or upcycled furnishing" in the house in order to enter to win the prints. People are commenting on the prints themselves just because we comment on everything. And because we like them. :)

    • I also thought they were duplicates, you can see I'm just playing catch up on some of the posts. :)

  10. I was surprised more people didn't say "the lighting over the dining room table," because that is my absolutely favorite thing. It just goes to show how difficult it is to pick one thing. I love reading everyone's comments on the other items. I will be picking a different item to savor each day when I enter, but my most favorite favorite item is that lighting. :)

Lindingo on July 25, 2014 at 5:19 pm
    • I can agree with you on that lighting Lindingo. Dylan had a special vision when he made that light. There are so many great items it's difficult to name just one. Will be keeping my eyes open for other special pieces.<3:D

    • I like that light fixture too!

      vagrammie3 on July 28, 2014 at 3:03 pm
    • I loved the lighting also, so very different, you'd never see that in another house. :)
