    • One of my favorites, along with the inflatable island!

      Virginia_Moon on May 6, 2014 at 1:25 pm
    • FYI.

We already voted between the Bocce Set and Large Jenga Set a few weeks back during the previous OUTDOOR Voting.

    • Correct, you voted for which yard games you wanted to see incorporated in the Blog Cabin 2014 design. This time you're voting on items you want to enter for a chance to win.

    • Thanks. :)

    • With u both so far..

COOLSMILEY on May 6, 2014 at 3:55 pm
    • Me too! Like my dogs grilled or maybe roasted on a stick over the fire pit.

What great fun the kids will have on the inflatable island in the lake!

    • I like cooking hotdogs and marshmallows on a stick too and I'm hoping our fire pit will be wood burning, they just don't taste as good over gas.

    • My son gave me this popcorm machine as a gift last Christmas. It is easy to use and is a great delight for the grand children. There are all sorts of flavored butters you can sprinkle on the popped corn. The only thing I find as a problem is that it is hard to clean.

    • is this popper the small countertop or the larger version. These poppers are cute & fun.

  2. Thanks for all the new items to vote on. However, isn't the Bocce / Jenga category pointless. We already voted on this and Bocce won by a big margin. Nothing's going to change with the voters so this is a wasted category. :)

AnniesOwn on May 6, 2014 at 2:02 pm
    • Agree wholeheartedly, why on earth was Bocce/Jenga to be voted on again.

  3. Correct, you voted for which yard games you wanted to see incorporated in the Blog Cabin 2014 design. This time you're voting on items you want to win.

    • In that case I don't mind if the bocce wins. The jenga is easy to make with 52 ft. of 4×2 finished lumber and a chop saw it should take about 30 minutes work. Bocce balls are a lot harder to make. :) ^_^

AnniesOwn on May 6, 2014 at 2:23 pm
    • Good thinking! Here's a link to other great yard games you can make: http://blog.diynetwork.com/maderemade/2013/09/06/

    • Virgina,

Thanks for the link. Does the BEER come with the games we are voting on? :p

  4. Thanks again for another group of great recreational items. Liked the lounge chair key hooks, so much here in Florida is Star Fish or Shell. I used to sell the floating loungers, customers always complained they couldn't use it because the grandkids got them first. People used to buy those group floaters like crazy for the beach the river even for the pool. Great way to watch all the kids too. I like the hotdog steamer, popcorn I nuke and less than 2 minutes I'm done plus I can offer regular, buttered, caramel, lite salt or kettle. Hotdogs and kids or even drop by friends are go together things.

mrmoogy on May 6, 2014 at 2:32 pm
    • Funny about the hot dog steamer. I tried to talk my hubby into buying that exact model a month or two ago. He didn't think we needed it, but I have been trying to talk him into it. I think it's fate. I am meant to have that hot dog maker – LOL.

jensmithwiz on May 6, 2014 at 2:45 pm
    • Yes, I had for my pool and jet skis ;0)

COOLSMILEY on May 6, 2014 at 3:57 pm
    • I just don't see the chair towel hooks being every practical so I chose the other one. I nuke my popcorn too so I went for the steamer too but after looking up the one pictured up it's made of plastic :( pretty cheap, they are $50 at Walmart. The popcorn popper looks like it's better quality. As for a float this would be my choice *L* if it were one of the options http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/det

Gene on May 6, 2014 at 4:57 pm
    • How cute is that. You have your shade and your cooler all in one. That would be my vote too

  5. Afternoon all! I hope you all are doing well this afternoon. I was enjoying the dock view. Excited to see how it all comes out. It will be nice for the winner to sit and do nothing. Hoping it's me.
I just want you all to know, as much as I want this place, and I do want it badly, I will be thrilled for any of you who win it, but I may show up on the door step for a visit – LOL.
Have a fabulous day and please be safe.

  6. Nice choices this go round! Thanks! Do we know if there is an outdoor shower planned? Those cute chair hooks would be a great accent while showering off sand outdoors!

Downonthefarm on May 6, 2014 at 3:03 pm
    • Most likely there will be a garden hose with a sprayer to spray or maybe a hook on the wall? for you to put the hose & spray attachment and have an instant overhead! or maybe they will have an outdoor shower stall.

cucumberHOH on May 7, 2014 at 3:49 pm
  7. Well, I picked 5 out of 10 AGAIN ;0)

COOLSMILEY on May 6, 2014 at 3:58 pm
  8. Love the inflatable island….would be loads of fun time for adults and kids!! Our family would enjoy the Bocce set followed by a delicious snack from the popcorn machine and topped off with tasty lemonade served in the pretty swirled glasses. I would be happy with any of the great choices! ( =

  10. I saw this island cabana on Face Book about a year ago and the water floats reminded me of it so I thought I'd share http://www.gandermountain.com/modperl/product/det
