  1. Gray and rainy again today. Just glad it is not snow and ice this far down in Florida. This is giving DIY a chance to do all the desk and prep work that needs to be done in the background to ensure a good build. Hope they are ready to roll when the sun comes out.

    • I hear you grammagail. I live in Florida as well and have had a good bit of rain which I do not mind at all, but the cold along with the rain is tough on the old joints. I am also ready for some sunshine. I can't complain about the rain since there have been times we sure needed it. It is nice to voice my opinion now and then though.;) I am happily, anxiously and sincerely ready to watch the blog cabin turn into the masterpiece known as the 2014 Blog Cabin. I am also ready to win and call it my home!!! Have a great evening and everyone please keep warm and safe.<3<3 XXXOOO

  2. Saw some kind of red bird in the pines just this side of the red pump house. Was not there long by the time I tried to zoom in it was gone. I wonder if there was ever a home on this lot. The electric just looks like something that was put there by the developer just to maintain the property. Another question I have was there ever a fire on this land. The sand and soil is to gray/black in color.

  7. I now know I was looking at the entire house on the new home site when I thought I was only seeing half the house. I don't know where I got the idea it was being moved in 2 sections; perhaps that was because that is what I recently saw here at our area. Anyway what an enormous feat it must have been to move that house and what a fabulous job you all did, we are proud of you!

  8. lOOks like it was a monumental event in a quiet area around Lake Hamilton. This morning I was looking at the cam and I see no change since the move, is that a live pic or is my cam not working. Also, some have spotted an alligator from the cam, do they look like rocks sticking out of the water? I never saw a live alligator.

  9. This is my first year doing this blog cabin thing. It's a lot of fun getting to decide what goes into the design. This is such a dream house or I guess I should say it's becoming a dream house. Lol. It would be so neat to live in winter haven so close to Disney world. I can't wait to see the cabin all done and waiting for its owner!
