Blog Cabin 2013 Giveaway Entry Period Over

It’s been an exciting ride, yes? Thank you so much for entering the Blog Cabin 2013 Giveaway. The grand-prize package, worth almost $500,000, includes a beautifully restored cottage located along North Carolina’s stunning Crystal Coast.

Very soon, we will randomly select the winner of the giveaway. The big announcement (the winner’s name and photo and how many times he or she entered the sweepstakes) will be posted on or around October 11, 2013. Then, just a few days later, we plan to unveil the location of our 2014 home. Stay glued to your computer — lots of details are TK in the coming weeks!

Good luck to each and every person who entered.

  6. This is my first time posting, just wanted to wish everyone luck, and to thank HGTV/DIYnetworks for sponsoring and working on such a wonderfully calming and healing – looking place. This is the sort of place my husband and I dream of retiring at. I can't believe the designers catered to my every wish! God Bless!

  7. Winning the Blog Cabin would indeed be a special thing. But the most special thing is the friends and fun that have been made all during the build as we watched the live cam and commented, like being in an interactive movie this year. Thats whats special to me and looking forward to B/C 2014.

    • Hi Sam, I totally agree with You….Everything was Special about this 2013 Blog Cabin,The location, the lovely story behind the old historical cottage..conversing with all Our Blogging friends..Weekend Breakfast on the Dock…It was great having the 'Camera Cam' as we followed along on a day to day basis.. Fun watching the Pros and Crew as they used their great talents to rebuild and give Character back to this wonderful old place… Loved reading all the great comments from our regular blogging buddies and our new blogging friends who joined us this time in Atlantic, NC……
Soooooo much Fun and hope We will be 'blessed' again with the 'Camera Cam' for the next BC '2014'..
It was a great surprise for us Bloggers to have the Camera Cam and made it so Very Special and we felt that we were truly part of the rebuild with our suggestions and our People's choices…
It was great fun following along as progress was being made daily and was so blessed that we could enjoy the beautiful Morning Sunrises on the Dock and breathtaking sunsets in the evening..Also had fun with the few signs that were left on the grapevines for Us Bloggers by the 'Special Designers'..Really had a great time this Blog Cabin and hope it will continue!
Can't wait to see where 'Our' next BC will be located????^_^B)<3 Any place Special you would like to see 2014 be located??? 'No lighthouse' Please Sam…:):p^_^B)<3

    • I hope they have the Cabin Cam again for BC 2014. I also hope they build on the west coast. By the time I got to the cam everyone was gone to lunch or was done for the day. I did watch several beautiful sunsets.

    • I don't know what they paid to have the Cam, but it sure was successful. I hope they use it from now on instead of just still pictures. We are all spoiled now.

    • Hi Sam, We are all going to be so disappointed if We don't have the live Camera Cam back for the 2014 BC..:( I Loved that Cam and all the things We were privy to see on a daily basis, especially the Sunrise and Sunsets over the water!!! Sigh..breathtaking…Yes Sam, We are 'really' spoiled now…..Surely they must know that We are hooked on the Cam and can't imagine them changing it back to still slides OH No…Bummer. Yuk….Surely they could budget that cost in their package???.
Diy had More on line Viewers because of the Cam, I think and more viewers brings more exposure for the Blog Cabin… Diy should love that, wouldn't you think???^_^B)<3 We shall see how much they value their devoted Blogger's and Our request to use the Nice Camera Cam again ^_^:);):pB)<3
