  1. The first thing I will do when we win is wish my husband a happy birthday! His bitrhday is October 10th and all he wants is this year's Blog cabin. Once he's wished happy birthdy we would move on to calling our famillies to celebrate the good news and plan times for them to come visit since they almost all live out of state. And of course, then we would move in ASAP since we are moving out that way for work soon anyways :)

  2. After catching my breathe, I would let my family know that I now own a house in NC where my daughter and son-in-law live. I would plan my move to this wonderful house along with a large family get together! Wouldn't everyday be a holiday living in this dream house???

  3. I would pack and leave the city life. My two dogs would love to have a place to run and not be on a leash at all times. Personally, I long to sit on a porch and not hear trucks, cars and trains going by!
    xD

  5. The first thing that I would do if I found out I had won this home, would be to scream and cry at the same time. I have put so much effort into submitting for this home, I feel like it's a second job for me. I've submitted every day since it started and I stay up until midnight most nights entering instead of going to sleep with my husband, but he knows it's for a good cause. We need to get out of this situation that we're living in so we can better our lives. The first thing I would do when we got to the actual house is let my dog run free in the yard (which he can't do where we're at, unfortunately he stays in a cage or inside most of the day and with this house he could do as he pleases inside and out), and I would get on my knees and cry and thank God for answering my prayers every night for this home and thank him for the blessing he has given us, and never take it for granted. I would be back home where I grew up, near family again (whom I haven't seen in over two and a half years now, they've never seen my only son) and I could be happy knowing that my son would have a bright future growing up there, becoming a true southern gentleman as he should, and that our lives as a family would be complete simply because our surroundings and circumstances had changed due to this one home. It's more than just a home at the beach for me, more than just something for me to show off to people. This home would be my future, it would change everything in my life, it would give me hope and faith again, it would give me my ambition and inspiration back that I have lost living where I do. This home would be a saving grace of sorts for my family and me, I don't know if anyone understands that. I'm completely dedicated to trying to win this home, I have exhausted every possible route I could come up with to better my chances of winning. It would mean the world to me in every single way to win this home. We need this, not just want it…

  8. My winning plan begins with smiling until my cheeks hurt, then:
    1. Figure out how the best way to share cabin paradise with dearest people I know.
    2. Invite neighbors/locals over to test the grill & challenge a game of Cornhole.
    3. Go for a swim off the dock, and collect shells
4 Shower outside, rinse sand off the shells
    5. Watch the stars from the upstairs porch.
    6. Say goodnight to a house full of family & friends
    7. Cook breakfast in my fab kitchen and eat it out on the porch.
    8. Repeat when ready.
