  1. The first thing I would do if i won, is to move in!! and then run down to the dock to see if the dolphins are swimming around.

    • I would love to have this home. It is so beautiful and maybe it would help my health and physical problems. I live where we have cold winters and this does not help. They have done a wonderful job on this home. <3

    • They often do come into the waterway. One of my favorite moments was when I was taking a rescue diving course offshore and the instructor told me to stop towing the 6'8" guy I was towing and put my face in the water. A huge pod was swimming by and I got to see them underwater. Fabulous.

    • In the springtime we watched them via the CabinCam almost daily for a few weeks as they hunted just off the end of the dock. It was so cool to se them jump and roll on the surface.:)^_^xDB)

    • I know AnniesOwn, that was my favorite thing about the cabin cam. Was watching the ocean.

    • I don't remember anyone saying anything about the dolphins! That makes it more special!!!

    • Vicki, the dolphins are the cake toppers on this unbelievable home! I can just see sitting on the dock praying they come visit! DIY crew outdid themselves on this home!

    • This home is the best ever! DIY and HGTV keeps getting better, I think that this is the best then they come up and out do what they have done in the past!
The first thing I would do if I won is make sure I was not dreaming. Then I would have a big community block party. What do you call a block party if it is on the beach and docks?
      Everyone invited!

  2. The first thing I would do is happily scream and jump up and down, then run to the beautiful kitchen and plan our first family dinner together. :)

  4. Well, the very first thing I would do is tell my family. And then (although you didn't ask for 2nd thing), I'd have to quit my job so we could move. :)

  5. I would immediately call me ENTIRE family and invite them all to join us there for THANKSGIVING!! And I would indeed be VERY thankful :-)

Pat Sheinman on September 5, 2013 at 11:46 am
  6. Sit in awe and wonder after I moved in and soak in the atmosphere of the cabin and view. I would, very first, of course, post on FB that it had happened and invite my friends for a stay! Thanking God comes before all that!

Annette Hoogendoorn on September 5, 2013 at 11:47 am
    • You are so right Annette. Inviting friends and family is a must but thanking God for such an incredible blessing is first. I have decided I want to retire in the Carolinas and this home would be incredible.

  7. We would love to share with our family (have 6 children, all grown), grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Would be a fantastic place to have holiday and family get-togethers!

Ron Anstine on September 5, 2013 at 11:48 am
    • I know what you mean. I used to live in Chesapeake, VA. We moved to TX and I used to go back there a lot.I haven't been able to go in about 6 years. # of my grandbabies and many friends still live in Chesapeake Va and one granddaughter and great grandbaby live in Jacksonvile ,NC,not far from there.it would be wonderful to be blessed to receive that cabin,so I could share it with family and friends. I would also share it with people that would want to just stop by for a short visit just to enjoy all of the wonderful beach and out door entertaining and leisure areas they have thoughtfully put there for people to enjoy sitting under the pergola, or sitting out on the second level deck areas to be able to see the natural beauty far out over the blue waters there. The fire pit would be wonderful on a cool night to sit out there look at the stars up in the heavens and to roast marshmallows to make smores. To share that with others would be wonderful.
