  1. PLINK PLINK PLINK in the pergola, playing my Celtic harp to the land and the sea and the family and friends who would come to retreat….who would picnic with baskets of wine & cheese…children flying kites in the ocean breeze…o yes, it's the pergola, my favorite, for me…and when it got chilly as the moon rose, I would seek comfort in paisley blue, soft and true….

  2. The porches are ooooh …..so sweet. I grew up on the farm, and our home had a porch on east and west side. Now, our present home has a small porch, too. Today is the last day to enter for the Quilt giveaway, so good luck to everyone. I know, only one winner, but lots of dreamers.

    Enjoy. :)

  5. I have Finally found MY DREAM HOME!!! The rebuild on this property is incredible. Repurposing all the great items found in and around the home must have been a real treasure hunt. Honoring the original owners is wonderful. My favorite thing is the original fireplace in the Great Room, the center of the home. You even remembered the doggie toys and door for my sweet thing! The colors and design are calm and inviting, nature was truly brought inside. No beach getaway for me, Home!!!

I love the idea of being able to cook and eat a meal outdoors in such a nice space. this would be so amazing on a nice evening with family & friends, being able to enjoy the outdoors and have the fresh air. DREAMY!

  9. I am in love with this room. I love paisley and the mix of patterns. I am about to redo my own bedroom and just stopped at Sherwin Williams for the color pallet. Blues and greens have always been my favorites. I love that bedroom with the quiet porch and comfortable bathroom. I would move to North Carolina in a heart beat to live in this home.
