Blog Cabin 2013 Gimme Gimme Giveaway Wooden Coaster Set
We are proud to announce the first in our series of Gimme Gimme Giveaways. Through the summer we will be giving away treasured items left behind at Blog Cabin 2013 after episode filming wrapped.

The first item up for grabs? We will give away a wooden coaster set, handcrafted by Blog Cabin 2013 project manager Dylan Eastman. Dylan fashioned the set of six coasters from the home’s original corner posts. To learn more about this project and get Dylan’s handy step-by-step instructions, please visit the Made+Remade blog.

To enter for a chance to win the coaster set, take the virtual home tour, examine each space and then tell us, via a comment posted below, which Blog Cabin 2013 reclaimed or upcycled furnishing or decorative accessory you like best.

You have from July 19, 2013, at 9 a.m. ET until Friday, July 26, 2013,  at 5 p.m. ET to post your comment and thereby enter for a chance to win this one-of-a-kind coaster set. On Monday, July 29, 2013, we will randomly select the winner of this coaster giveaway and post the winner in the blog on or around July 30, 2013.

  4. So many have chosen things I love but I will say the brass ship's bell for announcing guests but could also double to call all in to a meal no matter where they are on the property!

  5. Each and every reclaimed or upcycled piece shows great charm, creativity, and respect for the original house and its setting. The fireplace mantle is magical and is my favorite.

  7. I think the master suite headboard is gorgeous. I'm always amazed at the vision talented people have to re purpose wore items. Shutters…who would have thought!!!

  8. I love that outdoor pergola and the fact that you kept some of those grape vines to regrow with the new family!

    • The vines are new but the result is the same.;)

  9. I love this house! I think I would spend most of my time on the porch or in the pergola gazing out at the water! It all looks so peaceful. My favorite reclaimed project has to be the master bed. I think that the attached nightstands from an old dresser and the shutters for the headboard really looks nice. I would never have thought to do that.

  10. Saving the Fireplace Surround was my very favorite repurposed item that was used in the new house. Beautiful
