  2. I saw the home and just love it and hope to win it for my family I don't care i'm poor but I will like to win the home for me and my family.

  3. I like the old vanity that was split apart in the Master Bedroom that became a custom nightstands/storage nooks. By the way the term Master Bedroom is no longer being used in the real estate world. It is now called the owner's suite!

    • Owner's suite does sound better but what if there is not an 'on suite' connected to the Master Bedroom. Can you still call the MB an 'owner's suite'? This is all so confusing.

    • That's only in pretentious areas, you know where a dead end street has become a cul de sac.

  7. There are so many nice repurposed items in our cabin that it is hard to name one. I loved the fireplace surround, the dining room table, the coffee table with the pine stump from the house foundation, the wine storage, etc. etc. etc. But I think my all time love is the master bedroom…the bed with the shutter headboard, the storage drawers made from the house siding, the pull from the door knockers. I just LOVE the bed and all the other items in this room…also love the whole house, yard, and dock. My babies… 4 dashunds..selected the dog fence, doggie door, heated bed, and their own fresh, cool water.

    • You are a good dog parent. I didn't tell my 3 dachshunds about what was available. If they knew that they 'could' have it, then they would demand that they 'should' have it.

They can be very demanding at times.

  8. I love the reclaimed doors in the landing at the media room. Love the "old" homey feel!! All the natural light is wonderful!

  9. These coasters are Great!!!

Paula on July 19, 2013 at 5:12 pm
  10. I like the coasters.
The idea of having a chunk of wood that came from the cabin is like owning a piece of the home we have been following for the better part of a year.
I think it would be cool to have something I could use everyday that would remind me of the BC and the conversations I enjoyed with the other bloggers.
