  1. Invitation to join us in morning campground coffee on the dock! We are trying out an automatic outdoor coffeemaker and it would be great in the outdoor kitchen! Coffee is great so enjoy.

    • Our outdoor coffeemaker is the Thermos. : ) Is there any electricity to the outdoor kitchen?

Trish on July 25, 2013 at 10:10 am
    • I had to go to the pics of the outdoor kitchen. I remembered the lights and knew there HAD to be electricity. Pic 6 has an elect. outlet above the gorgeous grill. So, coffee in the outdoor kitchen is THERE. Woohoo!

    • No electricity necessary for my coffeemaker! Good for off grid camping in the woods. It uses a short 1 lb propane bottle that you would use with some camp stoves. Wonderful for campgrounds that have cabins with
no indoor kitchen or tenting on sites that have no hook-ups. Or cabins with large gorgeous grounds on the shores of Core sound!

    • We could really use one of those!

    • They're great aren't they? We've had one for a couple of years. Just load it up, press the starter and soon you have a piping hot cup of your favorite joe. Easy camping :) ;)^_^

    • So do I ! When my younger son was little, he was fascinated by sharks. We got every book and research material we could find on sharks. The whale shark became my favorite; they are so massive and yet so gentle. They float along with a "toothless" mouth open to scoop up krill and other nutrients. I would love to dive in Caribbean waters and swim near one like this : http://www.arkive.org/whale-shark/rhincodon-typus

I became pretty obsessed with them myself. They are so graceful and something about them touches me.
