  1. DIY I love the choices! Those slippers look comfy. If I won them I might be tempted to wearing them all day long! Becky^_^<3

    • I would…when I'm not barefoot…LOL

  2. hi guys, this is Carl, while doing late night paper work out here on the left coast, did any one notice all of the work going on inside at approx 2/3am blog cabin time..with the bright exterior lighting reflecting off windows and walls it hard to see inside..

    karenlin91 on April 4, 2013 at 3:04 pm
    • Carl, I wasn't up that late, but I noticed lights on inside and door open around midnight…

TishaStanley on April 4, 2013 at 7:23 pm
    • Carl, I was up late and noticed that. With multiple contractors in the house doing their work it is probably easier to get things done then.It helps everyone to keep on schedule too. Becky:)<3

  3. Lovely gifts! Those LLBean slippers are great. I chose the ones with the best indoor/outdoor soles for no slipping on the porch early in the morning! Don't want to spill the coffee!

Grammagail on April 4, 2013 at 4:52 pm
    • Hi Gail, don't you spill that Wonderful Brew on Our Screened in Porch .LOL!!!
I think All of those C/C gifts are Great, but I liked the Ceramic Wall Planter better than the glass..looks more like shells to me…All My Choices are ahead so far, Yeah, but might change before this voting round is over..
I wonder how long these rounds will last…I hope they won't be as long as the regular P/C voting…Those are a bit too long, I think Cabin Comforts should be shorter! Too much gap in between to keep Us going and Bloggers lose interest and don't blog as often..Can't wait to see what they have planned next for the dock! It is looking really Good so far and very Strong…I hope it stays that way, don't you?:)

      Jennie/Florida on April 4, 2013 at 6:40 pm
    • Hi Jennie, I would think they might be done with the dock…not a lot of room on it to put a lot of stuff. I would be happy if they put a ladder of some sort, to get in or out of a boat, and maybe some bolts on the posts sticking up to hook those triangle sail shades up when you need them, and take them down when you don't want them…..otherwise, I'll take it! just like it is ;-)

      karenlin91 on April 5, 2013 at 4:25 pm
    • Good Sat. Morning Karen, Sorry it took so long to get back to you…I really don't think they are finished with the Dock…There is plenty of wood left to be used…I think they might build some kind of rails for safety and I know that "Jason and Desperate Landscapes" will Add finishing touches on the Dock!
Maybe some kind of Covering on the end of the pier for outings…I might be wrong but those are my thoughts…:)B)<3 Have a Good Day!!!

      Jennie/Florida on April 6, 2013 at 12:23 pm
    • Good Sat almost afternoon Jennie ;-) I think you're right, they would have picked up the wood if they were done…..It'll be interesting to see what they do! It will be gravy for me! ;-)

      karenlin91 on April 6, 2013 at 2:55 pm

    • Good point! I went for the moccasins, because I just love them……but they might be slippery, you're right about the coffee! ;-)

    • Hi bogartandbacall. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. No words can fix this for you, but your faith will see you through to the other side. I personally lost my first girl who lived only 20 minutes and the doctors told me I would never have more children. I was pregnant 7 more times after that, and of all those times, I was blessed with 3 beautiful, healthy girls. It is not for us to know the reasons or the blessings that lie ahead of us, but know that you are loved, greatly loved. May God's love lift you up now in every need.

    • My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to you bogartandbacall. Words for the lost of your precious little angels are so hard to find for a mother's heart. I am so so sorry. Know that you are being covered with prayer for strenght and peace. May the Lord's Holy Spirit wrap himself around you and fill you with His comfort and peace, knowing full well that they are in His presence. And yes you will see them again!

    • I don't think any words can express the hurt You must be going through with the loss of your little Angels but Please know You have full support from all of Us here on the Blog Cabin Blog. God does works in mysterious ways and Your two Little Angels are with Him and He will take care of them until the time comes when You will see them again..Please be strong and take time for Yourselves because Your grief will take over and Your Health will suffer..There is nothing You can do now but to pick up the pieces and go forward with Your Lives and Take Care of Each Other…You are Loved and Your Family Needs You…In time You will be reunited but until then Take Care of Yourselves and Each Other..Life does go on. We Care <3<3<3

    • My heart grieves for you. Losing a child (children) is so heartwrenching. They will always be a part of you. Each time I lost a child I planted a tree. As the years have gone by and the trees have grown, I'm reminded of them. Somehow nourishing and caring for the trees have helped bring me comfort. Cling to your faith and know that you will see them again. You have my deepest sympathy and my prayers.

Hazelnut Deb on April 5, 2013 at 10:38 am
    • Hazelnut Deb, that is a Wonderful idea! Planting Trees in Memory of your Children you have lost. To Nourish and Care for "Your Special Trees," watching them grow would be so Heartwarming and Very Comforting! Have a Nice Day!:)

  9. Lovely choices for bed and bath. Had a hard time with the bath brushes, between body or back finally decided I can reach most of me except my back so most people would appreciate help there. Keep up the good work

margaret on April 4, 2013 at 9:06 pm
    • Hi Margaret, that was the vote I had difficulty with too! haha Much Love!! <3<3

Rebecca on April 5, 2013 at 4:06 pm
  10. It's so great to be voting again, it makes the dreaming of the blog cabin more real, somehow. I loved the choices, and am always amazed by the thoughtful choices we do have. I was curious about whether the planters are going inside the cottage or outside? That would make a difference to me, but I voted for the ceramic just in case. I went to the page that listed the items with their descriptions and costs–it is interesting to me that we all seem to vote with our eyes and hearts and not for the most expensive option always! Thanks for including us in this magical experience, DIY!
