  4. My wife of 20 years and I had our first date in New Bern at the Harvey House. We were counselors at a sailing and motor boating camp at the time. Talk about bringing back the memories. For those of you who do not know New Bern, it has tremendous historical charm and is a fantastic location for this! Kudos on the site selection!

  7. I love the beach!!!!! And to think that an old log cabin will have a new face lift. The colors should reflect the colors of the water and natural trees. Cork would be a good floor design. The floor should also stand up to sand that stick to your feet and everything else. Moisture is a problem for electronics. I'm sure you will solve all of these problems. To think about all the other families of long ago that shared this house. How wonderful and historic!!!!!!!

  8. I love the South Carolina coast! I know that this cabin will be awesome when it is finished. Being retired, my husband and I have dreamed about finding a lovely place to live and enjoy nature. This would be an incredible place to live and enjoy all of the many attributes of living in such a tranquil environment.

  9. That house has been in one family for generations. Glad to see it redone and the family get something out of it. Just beware the skeeters and noseeums this summer. Bring lots and I mean LOTS of bug spray (grin)
