Wouldn’t You Like These House Keys?
Time is running out. The Blog Cabin 2012 Giveaway entry period ends tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET. Have you been entering twice online daily? Gosh, I hope so!
Let’s do a little daydreaming today. If the phone happens to ring, you answer it and the voice on the other end of the line says, “You are the new owner of Blog Cabin 2012,” what will you do first? When you are handed the keys (yes, those are the actual house keys shown above) and proceed to unlock the door to your new home, what room will you explore first?
It would be a great treat, after some bad health issues!

I am too excited!!! I've voted and I've waited, I've posted and I've waited, I've watched and I've waited, I've entered and I've waited some more…now, I'm ready! Let's get a winner already – I'm betting that if the lucky winner is half as excited as I am they can't wait to be home already! (I hope it's me – my family needs some good news like that right now) Best of luck to everyone though!
I would want to thank everyone for using so much reclaimed products everyone wants to discard the old but the history is what makes it so beautiful. It is such a beautiful place and if some of the old pieces could talk the stories they could tell us.
It just dawned on me, we use our caller id to determine if we answer our phone because of all the political and 800 calls. We might have to start answer calls when the giveaway date comes . . .don't want to miss that call!
Good point. Rats! I'm sure I'll get more political calls than DIY calls.
Sadly, political calls are exempt from the "No call" list, as are charities and religious groups.
OMG !! I'm on the National Do Not Call Registry !!! I sure hope they can get thru !!!
I don't see a problem with the do not call list . . . everyone else gets through !!! The list is nothing but a joke and thank heavens for caller I.d. If we aren't fimiliar with the phone number or name we just don't answer the phone!
The National and individual state 'No Call' list will not stop DIY calling you as you have given them your number on the entry form. If you give anyone or any company your number and don't check the box that says that you don't want more information from them or allied companies you automatically give them (and all the companies they sell their contact list to) the right to call you whether you're on the list or not. Also, many states require you renew your 'No Call' listing evry year or every other year. Signing up once will not cover you for long.
I thought of that too. I will have to answer my cell on all calls. With caller ID, I normally don't answer if I don't know someone or recognize the number. Do you think they would leave a message? I seriously don't think so.
I've been daydreaming about winning this dream home from day one. I would thank the good Lord and DIY for answering my prayers and the prayers of my family, quit my job and start living my dream. Maine is where I grew up and the place I call home. Going back home would be my dream come true. With the fall season upon us a celebratory barn dance would definatley be in order. I'd invite all my blog buddies and we would have the time of our lives.
This house is emasculate! I am entering for my Mama. She loves rustic features and this home would be perfect to say thanks for raising me. She would faint if she won! I love my Mom!

I would definitly thank God first.. We sold our home several years ago to explore the United States. When the time comes to give up the travel, I'm not sure what our plans will be….this would be perfect.

The home in Maine is AMAZING…Using all the old wood from the former historic home and wood from the barn is such a useful and environmental ideas to furnish and build the interior of this home…Landscaping is amazing with the use of those boulders with the larger one used as the inscribe the house number…LOVE the kitchen and bathroom; and the views from the home and yards are amazing as well….
