The bees are buzzing and so are we — about the soon-to-launch virtual home tour. I hope you enjoy this latest cinemagraph from visual designer Jason Kisner. We may have more sneak peeks in the days and weeks to come.

Hi Mary , Thank you so much for the new Thread! The Pics are great, love the cinemagraph of those beautiful flowers with the busy bees, I assume they are in the front yard and I love the flooring in the foyer…so glad to see the original door knob, looks right at home…Please keep the sneak peaks coming, it's a long time to August 13th.!!!!
Correction—-Door Knocker
Cute, but must-be-dizzy bumble bees cinemagraph!
I love them, Jason! So glad the original doorknocker is "home!" Thanks for the eye candy, Mary et al!!! Have a happy, safe 4th of July everybody! B)xD^_^<3 Kitty
Kitty, not sure when you are heading out, but drive carefully and have a safe and enjoyable trip. Hope that the weather cooperates as well.
Thank you, Frank! We're heading out to deep sea fish on Friday–that'll be by head boat. When we go to Maine on July 20th, we'll fly into Manchester, RI, rent a car; then leisurely drive up the coast, mostly HWY 1. Would rather fly into Portland, but there are no direct flights from Norfolk International at this time. Manchester provides a pleasant drive and just about an hour and a half extra drive. I can hardly wait! xDB)<3 Kitty
You meant Manchester, NH right? I used to travel to Chelmsford, MA a lot and used Manchester when the "Big Dig" was happening in Boston. However you go have a save and fun trip. It is getting hot down here now and it would be nice to be able to go North. At any rate, hope you caught a lot of fish today and have a safe 4th.
YUP! That should read NH.
Thanks for pointing out my Baaaaaaaad Senior Moment!:$:(:S Kitty
DUH! WHERE am I??? In OZ??? I meant New Hampshire! Sorry folks! Baaaaaaaad Senior Moment!:$:(:S Kitty
Down here we call them "Village moments" because in The Villages, we all have them. The way that most people operate down here I sometimes think that this is some government fish bowl experiment and I wonder who is really watching us and counting the senior moments.
Don't have to live in the Villages to have 'em! It's a sign of impending second childhood….Perhaps this chance, I'll do a few more things right than the last one?:pxDB) Kitty
Just Lovely..
Great pics! The bees seem to be experiencing their own version of "Groundhog Day", and like Bill Murray are stuck do the same thing day after day.
Love the door knocker, and the fancy wood floor.
That is a great analogy. Round and round the bees go, but they don't seem to get anywhere over and over.
Better send the refueling drone out.
Or make sure that your computer doesn't run out of electrons.
The front door is so welcoming along with the gorgeous flowers! Home sweet home!
Thank you Mary! Just love the 'TeaZZZer"! Had to add more "ZZZ's" for the Bee's!
Hee Hee! Jason they made me giggle! Thanks!
Thanks again for all you have done and continue to do for Blog Cabin 2012! PATIENTLY AWAITING the virtual home tour – NOT!
Truly Lilly
WOW! The floor is amazing–a work of art right there! It is so nice to see such a warm and welcoming front door. Best of luck to all the Bloggers in hopefully winning this gem! It sure would be a slice of heaven to have MY hand grace that original knob in the future!!!
I believe that is a door knocker, not a knob. Check it out in the previous blog where they are standing at the front door, leaving after the filming and pictures for the virtual tour. The knocker is relatively high up, in the middle of the door.
OOPs! You are right – meant knocker not knob.. It is quite an interesting piece isn't it?! Wonder what the history is on the old knocker… hmmm
Oh so it wasn't a door knocker, but a door knob…so happy to see him at home. Tx
Vicki, first hope that you are still safe from the wild fires. I believe that is a door knocker, not a knob. Check it out in the previous block where they are standing at the front door, leaving after the filming and pictures for the virtual tour. The knocker is relatively high up, in the middle of the door.
Oh well what ever he is I am glad they used it.
Yes it certainly is nice to see things from the original used in the makeover.
yes it is.
Mary, Thanks for the nice new pictures.
Great Photographs!
The antique door pull is absolutely beautiful.
Flooring terrific.
Bee/Flowers cinemagraph is attractive and very clever.
Looking forward to the "more sneak peaks" to come!
Flowers look beautiful with the contrasting green siding behind. Love the bees! Someone's having fun experimenting with their new computer technology!
