Ingrid, I am trying to have faith. Last year the first Black Woman ever to win " HGTV Dream Home 2010" was a Doctor with an Autistic Son, who use to live in New Orlean; and she lost her house to Katrina. This is the type of person that should be winning these sweepstakes. Some-one who really needs it. Also the woman who just won the " Urban Oasis 2011" was a Black Woman from Baltimore, MD. So I have hope from all the years that I have been looking at this show. I just hope one day that I could be there with these 2 women and win one of these Sweepstakes, and be as happy as they are right now. I stand proud as a Black Woman. I hope you are as proud to, as a Woman.

I just found out and I basically did the same thing. its too bad they dont show it live or on tv……i shouldnt have gotten my hopes up……
You have to have hope. Whether you win or lose, its all a part of the game and life. I have gotten my hopes up for so many things in my life only to have them dashed, but hey, it won't stop me from hoping again. I just say, "Oh well", shrug my shoulders, pick myself up, brush myself off, and keep on truckin'.
